Sora metadata explained
Sora is OpenAI's video model, and its output is marked on two levels at once: a signed manifest inside the file and, on several tiers, a moving watermark burned into the picture.
What ends up in the file
The MP4 contains a C2PA manifest in a dedicated uuid box, naming the generating model. Depending on your plan and how you exported, a visible moving logo may also be rendered into the frames. The two are unrelated: the manifest is metadata, the logo is part of the video.
Removing it
Our video cleaner remuxes the file, which drops the uuid box and any XMP or EXIF data while leaving the encoded video and audio streams untouched, so there is no quality loss. A burned in visible watermark is picture content and cannot be removed by any metadata tool.
