Can I convert HEIC files from iPhone?

Yes. A browser-side HEIC decoder is loaded when needed, then the decoded image can be exported as JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP or ICO. Unusual HEIC encodings may fail; they are reported rather than downloaded as a misleading output file.

Is there a file size or quantity limit?

There's no hard limit on file count or size, but performance depends on your device's memory and processing power. Most devices handle dozens of photos without issue. Very large files (50MB+) may take longer to process.

Does conversion reduce image quality?

JPG and WebP are re-encoded at 90% quality. PNG retains decoded pixels without further lossy compression. BMP stores RGB pixels on a white background, and ICO may resize the image. Metadata, color profiles and animation are not preserved. This tool has no adjustable quality slider.

Are my images uploaded to a server?
