What does the bulk image compressor do?
It re-encodes every JPG, PNG and WebP image at the quality you choose, scales down oversized photos if you want, and converts formats such as HEIC, TIFF, BMP and AVIF along the way. Files keep their names and their place in the folder tree, so links on your website or in your documents keep working.
How to compress a folder of images
- 1 Drop a folder, a selection of images or a ZIP file onto the tool, or use the Select folder button.
- 2 Choose the quality, the output format and, if needed, a maximum size for the longest side.
- 3 Click Compress images and follow the progress per file.
- 4 Download everything as one ZIP with the same folder structure, or save it straight into a folder on your computer.
